Malinda Mullet

Chapter Name: Theta Epsilon
College Name: Southwestern Illinois College
Year of Induction: 2017
IRAA Member Since: 2018

1. What positions have you held within Phi Theta Kappa?

President of Chapter; while maintaining presidential duties, I was also active within the following committees: HIA, College Project, and Hallmark write ups.

2.  How do you feel Illinois Region Alumni and the Illinois Region as a whole will benefit from your role as an officer in IRAA?

I believe the Illinois Region is an outstanding region that I want to continue being a part of after I graduate this spring.  My previous experience as a chapter president, strong work ethic, communication, creativity, passion, and knowledge of PTK makes me an asset to IRAA and the Illinois Region.

My goals are to work alongside the amazing Illinois Alumni in growing the region, becoming a resource for chapters to use, and increasing involvement in IRAA.  My goal for IRAA is to bring the region closer together and have more regional fellowship and leadership events.

I have a wealth of knowledge related to HIA, College Project, impactful service projects, engaging fellowship events, and awarding-winning write ups that I can pass on and exchange with both IRAA and chapter members.  I am dedicated to completing assigned tasks to the highest degree of efficiency and quality.  I love bringing the PTK energy to all events and engaging the members.  Overall, I believe both IRAA and the Illinois Region would benefit from me becoming an IRAA officer.
