1. What positions have you held within Phi Theta Kappa?
Internal Communications Manager, External Communications Manager, Vice President of Fellowship, Social Media Captain for the Illinois Region, and IRAA Northern District Representative

2. How do you feel Illinois Region Alumni and the Illinois Region as a whole will benefit from your role as an officer in IRAA?

I feel IRAA and the Illinois Region as a whole will benefit greatly from me being in an officer role for IRAA. Last year, I was the Northern Representative for IRAA and I have learned so much during that time and I feel as though I collaborated well with the Regional Officers and IRAA Officers. With my previous experience as a Phi Theta Kappa officer as well with what I have learned as an IRAA Officer I hope to continue what we have built upon this past year, which is opening up further collaboration with the Illinois Region in order to create events that will benefit everyone in the Region as a whole, and working together to try to find different pathways to raise money for scholarships help with the cost of joining Phi Theta Kappa and IRAA.

1. What positions have you held within Phi Theta Kappa?
I have held the honorable positions of chapter member, chapter vice president, chapter president, and central district vice president of the Illinois region of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.

2. How do you feel Illinois region alumni and the Illinois region as a whole will benefit from your role as an officer in IRAA?
Let me start off saying how extremely proud I am to officially be part of the Illinois Regional Alumni Association for PTK. I feel honored to have joined, and would take on this new leadership role responsibly, if elected. From my service as the Phi Theta Kappa central district regional vice president of the Illinois region, and chapter president of Alpha Psi Eta, I have had the opportunity to witness many accomplishments achieved by my PTK peers that have led them to scholarship and career opportunities after graduation. These achievements would not have been possible without mentors within the organization. I would love the chance to continue as a mentor for Phi Theta Kappa through the Central District IRAA position. I believe my experience and knowledge from serving not only my local chapter, but the entire PTK Illinois region, would be an asset in helping me understand the needs of our IRAA members. The Phi Theta Kappa Illinois Regional Alumni Association Leadership Team is full of the most top-notch dedicated leaders internationally. IRAA consists of incredible and knowledgeable past international presidents that continue to renew and spark my love for the organization. Also, beloved, winning, Illinois chapter advisors, that have helped me grow and recognize my own accomplishments, along with the many accomplishments of our current PTK and alumni members. Our leadership Illinois alumni team continues to exceed excellence in our hallmarks of Leadership, Service, Fellowship, and Scholarship. I had the opportunity to watch one of my closest friends and mentors, Malinda Mullet, serve as IRAA central district representative. She has taught me about the importance of community service work, collaboration, and continued excellence at the university level. I hope to learn from Malinda and continue to spread the message that we are Illinois alumni proud and will always work hard to achieve greatness.
